Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will release in March of next year, and after a proper debut at Tokyo Game Show, Square Enix has supplied new screenshots that show off more of the graphical upgrade the game is receiving. Developed in partnership with HexaDrive, Type-0 HD is also confirmed to have dual Japanese/English audio options, along with English, French, and Spanish subtitles.

The new screenshots you see here of Final Fantasy XV come directly from the Episode Duscae demo that will have a voucher accompany the release of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. We won’t have to wait long for new information anymore, and Square Enix has announced that on Thursday, October 2nd at 7:00AM Eastern US time, a special broadcast of Square Enix Presents will show more of both games.

This will include more information director Hajime Tabata couldn’t get around to at Tokyo Game Show, and it may be a prime opportunity to answer questions about the battle system and other features.

The broadcast will be available here.

Final Fantasy XV is announced for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is announced for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and will release on March 17, 2015, including a voucher for a Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae demo.

  • First of all, yay for them being more open with us (perhaps the Tabata-Nomura switch had something to do with it..?)

    Second, the most impressive thing here in my opinion are they Type-0 screens! I didn’t realize it in the trailer but they have done an excellent job with the graphics upgrade! Kudos!

    Non-micro screenshots! Hooray!

    Does anyone know if they will be recording this? :I
    Or, will anyone else beable to record this? :I

    This game’s battle system looks like crap, i actualy think system is a strong word for it, cause it looks like a simple button mashing with AI interaction with the party that you dont control. As a fan of FF since the old times, graphics aside, i think this will be the most disappointment i ever had with a main FF game;

    I’ll try — but I have a feeling that Square Enix may get it up soonafter. Here’s hoping to that!

  • Daniel Masterson

    well since you have already set yourself up for disappointment I feel sorry for you. I for one look forward to anything and everything this game has to offer.

    It’s great they’ve finally been sharing info and trailers and will keep doing so fairly regularly. This more than makes up for the E3 disappointment. It’ll be at Jump Festa, a demo in March, and will be at next E3 almost for sure. By then there will be a release date I bet. Finally FFXV aka Versus is coming out into the light. Feels like forever we’ve been waiting for it.
