Earlier today, Machine Zone, known for developing Game of War – Fire Age and Mobile Strike, announced a partnership with Square Enix to develop a mobile massive-multiplayer game for Final Fantasy XV.

While not much information was revealed about this upcoming game, it is said to “combine the characters, storyline and soundtrack from FINAL FANTASY XV with Machine Zone’s technology” to develop a product that people all around the world can play together.

Machine Zone Founder and CEO Gabe Leydon shared some of his personal thoughts on this exciting partnership. “It is an honor to work on a franchise I have loved since I was a kid. FINAL FANTASY is an iconic franchise in gaming. Bringing FINAL FANTASY XV to the mobile MMO gaming world is a significant opportunity for our players and we are proud to partner with Square Enix,” he said.

On behalf of Square Enix, Yosuke Matsuda, the company’s President and Representative Director, gave some of his thoughts on the partnership as well. He shared, “Machine Zone has a stellar track record in the mobile gaming space and we are putting FINAL FANTASY XV in trustworthy hands. We are very excited to work with the MZ team to bring together two leaders in the gaming world and look forward to FINAL FANTASY XV on MZ’s amazing gaming platform. We’ll work together to create MZ’s next great global mobile MMO game. ”

Final Fantasy XV will release later this month on November 29 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
