The Latest Look At The Titan Battle in Final Fantasy XV and More

November 7th, 2016 by Chelsi

023

We’ve got around 3 weeks left until the long awaited launch of Final Fantasy XV, with the most recently significant updates revolving around the polish done towards the game’s quality from the announcement of its delay. 4Gamer reports more about the impressive features that can be seen during the game’s first five chapters.

The battle against the Archaean Titan is the most demonstrated boss battle in XV’s marketing so far, and over time the entire sequence has been improved, leaving players more in awe compared to the build that was introduced months ago.

Compared to footage from months ago, various new parts in the battles have been included during the infiltration of one of Niflheim’s bases.

A new monster was also shown.

During movement in combat, Prompto is able to capture a photo of a battle scene. Leveling up your photography skills can unlock a variety of colored filter effects that can be used, among other upgrades.

The world of Final Fantasy XV promises a myriad of monsters you will fight along the way.

Ability Points (AP) can be earned to be spent on XV’s Astralsphere, reminiscent of Final Fantasy X’s Sphere Grid. The leveling board is divided into different categories, such as Phantom Sword, Field, Magic, Recovery, and more. There are sections reserved for other things such as the car Regalia and for chocobos, with their own sets of AP consumption.

Final Fantasy XV is very action-oriented in its gameplay elements, but it’s recommended to not neglect passive abilities such as parameters affecting the party’s recovery rate, or choosing the right equipment and accessories for your statuses.

More interestingly, 4Gamer played more with the Regalia and the damage it can take. This can be seen by trying to recklessly drive due to high speed.

In addition to what was introduced this time and the various parts that were polished, the completion of the game can be felt very clearly. Just 3 weeks more.
