July 23rd, 2016 by Natalie

KingsGlaive-4-1

Square Enix held a Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV panel at the San Diego Comic Con on July 23. The panel featured Takashi Nozue, the Director; Dan Inoue, the Lead Writer; Liam Mulvey and Andrea Tivadar, the voice and motion capture actors for Libertus and Crowe; and Mat Kishimoto, the Square Enix US Product Manager.

While it has been known for a while that Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV will be out in select theaters across the United States on August 19th, Square Enix has revealed that it will be available for digital download on August 30th and on Blu-ray and DVD on October 4th. It is included in the Deluxe Edition and Ultimate Collector’s Edition of the game, which will be released on September 30th.

Additionally, the movie’s Blu-ray boxart has been revealed along with a list of the current US theaters in which it will be shown. Don’t worry at the short list; Square Enix reassures that there will be more theaters added to the list in the future. Check those out below.
