Square Enix’s Gamescom 2012 lineup

This year’s Gamescom in Cologne, Germany is right around the corner: August 15th through the 18th. Today, Square Enix unvelied their presentation lineup which includes three Final Fantasy titles. Via the press release:

FINAL FANTASY XIV: A REALM REBORN – Also known as Version 2.0, Final Fantasy XIV makes another appearance at Gamescom, the venue where it first revealed gameplay. It’s widely expected that gameplay will be the main focus here, with a wellspring of attention directed towards the changes the game has gone through since initial release.

FINAL FANTASY DIMENSIONS – Originally “Final Fantasy Legends: Warriors of Light and Darkness” in Japan, Final Fantasy Dimensions is a throwback to the Super Nintendo days of Final Fantasy, featuring a job system that grows with each additional scenario and a two-dimensional pixel art style.

FINAL FANTASY VII (PC Version) – The newly revealed PC version of Final Fantasy VII, remade for newer operating systems includes a bunch of new features including a Character Booster that enables players to fully power up their characters, the ability to save to a cloud, and an acheivement system.

Other titles making the lineup are: Hitman Absolution, Sleeping Dogs, Tomb Raider, Quantum Conundrum, Gameglobe, and a wealth of mobile games.
