Letter From the FFXIV Producer #9

May 2nd, 2011 by Tony Garsow

This week’s letter is a bit short and succint, but it does detail the upcoming schedule for content patches for Final Fantasy XIV. Naoki Yoshida notes that the team is a bit behind schedule with the patches (which was previously implied by the effects of the Tohoku Earthquake in March), but didn’t rule out the possibility of rolling out content slated for the 1.17 patch ahead of time should development progress ideally. New features to come in 1.17 and 1.18 are the addition of encampments across Eorzea that will serve as new levequest hubs as well as further tinkering and balancing of the Armoury system’s jobs.
