First, Final Fantasy IV will release on July 3rd, and tonight, Square Enix Music has updated their official site to announce that Final Fantasy V‘s remastered soundtrack will release on August 7th. A release date for Final Fantasy VI’s soundtrack is forthcoming.

• “Final Fantasy” Noctis Cologne

This week, Square Enix re-introduced Noctis-themed cologne for purchase. Originally announced back in February, the product title drops the “Versus XIII” nomenclature, which has led some to speculate about the an upcoming re-reveal of the game to which it belongs to. The cologne itself is a scent that is intended for both men and women, and is described as a refreshing citrus and coniferous scent. A 6800 yen price tag apples. Pre-order/release details are forthcoming.

A release date of June 15th (delayed to June 29th) has been set, you can pre-order it from the Japanese e-Store here.

• Final Fantasy XIV Game Covers Revealed

With the reveal of A Realm Reborn’s release date (August 27th) and collector’s edition, we also learned that each region would be getting its own separate boxart.

The Japanese boxart wincludes the many jobs available in the game as designed by Akihiko Yoshida, the European version includes artwork of Gaius van Baelsar and the hero party seen in A Realm Reborn’s opening cinematic, and the North American version features a stylized CG render of Gaius van Baelsar. The Collector’s Edition artwork, as seen in the fourth image, was designed by Yoshitaka Amano. We have a full post dedicated to the announcement of the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn launch date and Collector’s Edition here.
