Jihl Coliseum DLC hits FFXIII-2 tomorrow

March 13th, 2012 by Tony Garsow

It’s late Monday night, and our first glimpse of tomorrow’s DLC comes in the form of Japanese screenshots. The content has gone live in that region, which features an encounter with PSICOM’s Jihl Nabaat. She uses a variety of tactics in battle, including the ability to summon units to fight alongside her. When crystallized, Jihl will be recruitable into your party as a Saboteur. The downloadable content will be available Tuesday, March 13th for $2.99/240MSP.

    Looks like everybody is joining into the XIII-2 coliseum bandwagon from the whole FF universe. Need to revitalize your FF career? Look no furthur then the coliseum!

    Hell even Gilgamesh, Ultros, and Chupon are thinking about joining the fun!!

    C’mon Warrior of Light, you know you want to.

    (XIII-2 is such a pathetic game I guess it needs a boost from other characters to make it worth a damn)

  2. KaRaOh says:

    This DLC seem fun and challenging :D .
    I’m looking forward to it.

    @AgitoXIII

    That’s very very true

  4. Shadowcatdoll09 says:

    I decided I’m only going to get the story related dlc since I maxed out everything for Noel and Serah.

  5. Leo says:

    THIS BATTLE, OMG
    I just wanna punch Jihl on the face, like, in reality, because this got me so annoyed. It’s soooo frustrating when her HP is like 30% left, but you need to stop and heal and she just starts absorbing the psicoms again. SO. DAMN. ANNOYING.

  6. Ixbran says:

    @Leo

    if you kill off the monsters before she can use Sacrifice Pawn, she will inflict heavy damage on her self, taking out a large chunk of her life.

    when fighting Jihl, concentrate on destroying the monsters first.

    Was that Odin?

  8. Light-San says:

    Man. When some news about Versus or Type-0 going to be released.

  9. Anon says:

    I’m so sick and tired of people saying this game is bad! Did you seriously play the same game? It was so much fun and exciting. Going back to the roots of original Final Fantasy. Isn’t that what EVERYONE wanted(not me, I personally loved 13 the way it is)?!?! And now people are complaining about another thing. It’s like they need something to complain about. This game isn’t pathetic. The people complaining are.

  10. dan hibiki says:

    No, this is what TORIYAMA wanted to save his reputation. I loved FFXIII as it was and I didn’t needed nor asked for this pathetic excuse for a sequel. But if you liked it, keep playing. I’ll keep complaining.

  11. Anon says:

    Oh no, another anon, i was the original one we’ll atleast the i’m the pacemaker anon i don’t feel like to change my name. People expecting alot from it, exceptation failed. imo ff fanbase isn’t that terrible probably few peeps, but there are awesome people like Dreams, light-san.

    Personally I like 13 only for music, graphics, designs and gameplay, everything else aspect was degraded imo. I agree with dan hibiki, toriyama is behind this after all.

    Looking at past interview from toriyama: When is lightning being happy in this game or where other guest characters than snow? It possible to answer these question, but toriyama didn’t stay true to his word in some of his interview.

    Don’t forget gilgamesh maybe from type 0 or dissidia. I think it is dissida. (would be fuuny if bartz was a medic)
