FFXIII-2 Collector’s Edition guide unboxing

January 26th, 2012 by Tony

A Collector’s Edition guide will accompany the release of Final Fantasy XIII-2 on Tuesday, and for $34.99, it can be yours. Publisher Piggyback has posted a new video showing off the guide, in which they list some of it’s features. The hardcover guide is printed on high-quality paper and two ribbons are set into the binder to use as bookmarks. There will also be an extra segment on story-related datum featuring the game’s developers.

I guess it’s neat they made a video of it. Ima get one of my own. That blue haired girl looks like the more interesting characters of the XIII-2 bunch >.>

Dear lord, another Piggyback Guide. You know, the Brady Games guides were pretty lacking and largely for n00bz and map-users, but the Piggyback Guide for FFXIII was really bad in comparison. The thing so filled with bias it wasn’t funny.
Of course, since the game was treasure filled (kinda like X), the maps were indeed handy. Kinda makes one wish they just made books with maps and more basic info for a lower price.
And despite being a KH boycotter, I was actually pretty impressed by the 2-part hardcover guides.
