FFX/X-2 HD Remaster Valentine’s Day Trailer

February 10th, 2014 by Tony Garsow

We’re just about a month away from Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster‘s release in North America and Europe, and Square Enix has saw fit to release a Valentine’s Day trailer to commemorate main character Tidus and Yuna’s developing relationship. The game will feature remastered visuals which include new character models, improved textures, and improvements to pre-rendered backgrounds where applicable. Final Fantasy X has had its soundtrack redone by the sound team to feature more live recordings.

Included in both games is new content present in the original “International” releases that never made their way to North America a decade ago. This includes Dark Aeons in Final Fantasy X and Creature Create in Final Fantasy X-2 for example. The game will feature cross-saving so those of you with a PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita can pick up and continue your adventures whenever or wherever you please.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will release on March 18 in North America and March 21 in Europe. A Collector’s Edition is exclusive to the Square Enix Online Store for $79.99. The PlayStation Vita version of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster includes Final Fantasy X as a physical cartridge and a voucher to redeem a digital version Final Fantasy X-2.
