New Details about World of Final Fantasy

June 17th, 2015 by Josh Lanxner

Remember that other title Square Enix unveiled during Sony’s Monday night E3 press conference? You know, the one that’s not the Final Fantasy VII Remake for PlayStation 4? Well we’ve got some more info about that other game, World of Final Fantasy.

In WoFF, you play as two siblings who, throughout the game will collect, raise and battle with various monsters from the Final Fantasy series, including cactuars, chocobos and behemoths. The game will use classic RPG elements coupled with the toy-like visuals, creating an experience that caters both to newcomers and series veterans. A new feature coming to the game is referred to simply as “stacking.” Through stacking, the player can adjust the siblings’ sizes to fit gameplay situations, something you see on display in the new batch of screenshots posted below.

World of Final Fantasy is releasing on PlayStation 4 and Playstation Vita in 2016.

Isn’t this a ‘Play it First On’? If so I would like to play this game on a non-Sony system. Still the game looks like it will be fun.
