Final Fantasy VII PC announced

Square Enix has finally made it official: Final Fantasy VII will be coming to PC as a downloadable title through the Square Enix Store. While the release date has not been determined, this version of the game will include achivements, a character booster, and make use of cloud saves. You can read more in a previous article here.

Final Fantasy VII originally released on PC via Eidos as publisher and porter, and it seems that version has undergone some tweaks for a 2012 rebirth. Courtesy of VG247, you can view the announcement trailer below:

    I really hope that they also release it as a physical copy to install for people with slow internet connections. I have every Final Fantasy numbered game and a bunch of the spin offs, but this one keeps alluding me. Even a used copy on Amazon is $30 at the cheapest, and that one exmpty space bothers me.

    agree with James, only thing will be useless feature is the character booster for me, since there no harder difficultly. I want harder difficulty level as well as keeping the old from the previous version. I would like have new content like spells, new secret character or area.
