Distant Worlds: The Celebration

Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy is a globetrotting concert series that brings the music of the franchise to fans worldwide. A new Blu-ray album entitled “The Celebration” will be available on June 26th for 6500 uen (roughly $66 USD). Each numbered Final Fantasy is represented in the selections, along with a brand-new battle theme medley arranged by Distant Worlds conductor Arnie Roth and Eric Roth and featuring the Kangawa Phiharmonic Orchesta. The Blu-ray version will include a feature where you will be able to switch angles between the orchestra and the video presentation.

Distant Worlds may be headed close to you, so be sure to snatch up tickets for the following performances scheduled for this year:

Red XIII Play Arts Kai + Warrior of Light Variant Play Arts Kai

Square Enix Merchandise director Hidemi Matsuzuka revealed two figures over the course of the E3 week: one being Red XIII from Final Fantasy VII, and the other is a painted Variant Play Arts Kai featuring a new design for the Warrior of Light as seen in Dissidia: Final Fantasy. Unpainted Tidus and Yuna Play Arts Kai were also shown at E3, with a retail price of $79.99.
