Aww it didn’t do as well as the others. That sucks, cause that might be a reason they’re not bringing it over. One major problem is that everyone is using CFW nowadays, no one buys the retail copy anymore.
They will bring this over for sure at some point, don’t expect it for another 6 months at least. Sales, while not very great, it’s good, nothing that would prevent them from localizing the game. The main issue is PSP market in rest of the world not sales in Japan.
I’d like to point out that these numbers are very strong. The comparisons to Dissidia, Crisis Core and Birth By Sleep are not entirely fair as they are TOTAL sales, whereas Type-0 is just 4 weeks. The game is selling at pretty much an identical rate to Crisis Core and BBS.
well, Type-0 is available through PSN as well, the others are not.
Not sure if this means anything, but Type-0 is an original game compared to the others as well. The other 3 are following very popular successors to their original games, with the exception of Dissidia (but it’s obvious why it has popularity).
Agree with :lalik( alot people are playing a iso version of this game and it’s just sad but oh well it’s a psp title never the less but Hmm it seem’s there wont be a NA release anytime soon by the looks of it we havent even gotten a trailer yet ) anyways as far is story on type-0 is very deep but again ( fabula crystalize invold) gameplay is just FF original Airships -(towns you get after completeing RTS)
so far what i expect as a decade fan)
Didn’t the guy (supposedly doing king’s voice) say that he was indeed working on a FF character named “King” voice?

Um, you guys gotta keep in mind that Type-0 is a little bit more expensive than other PSP titles, though. Say…two and a half times more expensive than your average PSP game? Sure, Type-0 wasn’t such a big hit like other games, but its easy to say SE got way more money from this game than from other ones.
Umm, I don’t think the sales did go so bad at all, besides @Maxie is right, this IS a more expensive game than the others and I think SquareEnix is forgetting the fact that Final Fantasy fans do not only exist in Japan (Of course the Japanese sales are important to them, but that doesn’t mean they can’t release the game outside the country). I want the damn game, many people want it, so WHAT is SquareEnix waiting for? For the end of the world? The game would give very good money if they released it outside Japan! Gives us the game already, people are suffering here!
Also, I’ve been thinking too that SquareEnix may be mocking us. Perhaps they’ve already been thinking on a release outside Japan but they won’t tell us and then… “Hi guyz! Type-0 will be out in a month so prepare your pockets to buy the game!” or whatever they would say XD

Dissidia 012 wasn’t a real sequel (I know it’s a prequel!), it’s was more like a Super Edition similar to Street Fighter game, just more characters and stages and new story more.
