Theatrhythm Curtain Call Comes Overseas

April 22nd, 2014 by Tony Garsow

Square Enix has announced that Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy Curtain Call will be making its way to North America and Europe later this year. The definitive version of the original Theatrhythm features 221 songs and over 60 characters to play as. Many selections from spinoffs and newer titles have been added such as Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, and Final Fantasy Type-0.

New features include a versus mode where you can compete head to head for the highest score on a song, Quest Medleys composed of various songs that you’ll be able to proceed through, and Collecta Crystarium — which will let you upgrade character stats by sacrificing the Collecta Cards you acquire through playing the game.

Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy Curtain Call is currently announced for 2014 release on the Nintendo 3DS; it releases in Japan on April 24th.

Why not bringing Type-0 to the west and leave this game there?

Will the new songs and characters be coming to iOS?

  • AnimaMagna

Doesn’t make sense that they would include Type-0 song while the game is still Japan-exclusive. I smell something coming.
