Not that I was planning on getting this, let alone Collectors edition, but I am sick of the Collectors editions being “Square Enix Online Store Exclusive” … Costumer service is god awful, shipping rates are terribly high, and it takes forever to get the product… They need to stop. I really wonder why they made the decision to do it in the first place.. ah, marketing.
On the flip side, I think the “Pre-order instant upgrade to limited edition” is pretty awesome! Great incentive to pre-order a game.

I’m actually looking forward to this. If you don’t like rhythm-action games, obviously this isn’t for you. It’s basically Ouendan plus FF characters plus mild RPG elements, but it’s all hinging on the Ouendan part of that. The DLC stuff really isn’t a problem, it genuinely feels like bonus stuff rather than core stuff with an additional price tag.

I mean, Yuffie is one of my favourite FF characters, but I acknowledge that she’s not exactly a core character (quite literally, being a missable, optional character), so she fits into the DLC menu quite well.
