We previously learned that Square-Enix had a new social/mobile game in the works for Japan, and now the title has been fully revealed.
Final Fantasy Brigade will feature characters, monsters, and locales from the Final Fantasy series all designed by Monster Octopus whom is also working on Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy. The battle system featured will be reminiscent of the 2D Final Fantasy era, and you’ll have a world to explore and enemy factions to fight (even on airships). A closed beta will be held this month in Japan.
Characters from the Final Fantasy series such as Lightning will appear as “Legends” that function as assist characters. By picking up the corresponding issue of Famitsu Mobage, you’ll unlock her in the game.
