Square Enix North America has a question for you Mr. or Ms. Final Fantasy-fan: “what qualities do you most like about Lightning?” A new survey available on the North American website asks just that, along with any other numbered Final Fantasy games you’ve played. Announced late this summer at the Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary Event, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is the third and final entry into the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy. It features — you guessed it — Lightning’s return as the protagonist.

All I know is, they better not leave any more unanswered questions in this one and they better give closure for all the characters, even the minors! The only reason we’re following through with this is to see what happens, but this is starting to become less of a Final Fantasy and more of a Lost!

From the presentation at the Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary Event, they said this will wrap up the trilogy’s story — answering any questions that may persist from Final Fantasy XIII-2′s ending or otherwise.
Here’s a question for SE: why are you so obsessed with Lightning? And why the inane perfectionism regarding XIII?
