The 1st Production Department at Square Enix revived the official Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII Facebook and Twitter with new updates for fans awaiting the final chapter in the XIII trilogy. The game will have a day and night cycle, one of the factors that influence the environment and activities in the world of Novus Partus.

Luxerion, known as the “City of Light”, is no exception. A major population center in the world, its denizens are heavily religious and theistic. The design of the city, as described by art director Isamu Kamikokuryou, is combination of different styles: gothic, mechanical, and fantasy. The team stated their next update will involve more information about Luxerion.
