New outfits are coming to Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII in the form of downloadable content. Available today through PlayStation Network and Xbox Live, the Ultimate Savior, Moogle Lover, and Divine Wear sets can be purchased for $3.99 each or $9.99 for all. Four new themes are also available on PlayStation Network for $1.99 each. The Japanese voice pack which was previously free for the first two weeks post-launch is now available for $3.99.

Square Enix is also unlocking new outfits for free via the game’s Outerworld service. Talk to the Outerworld NPC labeled with @LRFF13 to unlock the Helter Skelter garb in the Rewards Barter Shop. The Duelist garb will be unlocked when the number of Outerworld submissions hits 250,000.

Yay, Taxidermied Moogles dresses for everyone!

  • ugh, that’s annoying. i didn’t see the voice pack on psn. $4 isn’t bad, it’s just….free is better…

Anyone else feel like this DLC is overpriced :/
Hopefully they make a DLC bundle with it all like they did for XIII-2

I think the moogle dressphere is creepy and disgusting. Poor little moogles :,,(

On the other hand, I found the cosmocrator one different and original, I would like to pay for it.
But the price is a bit expensive, 2-3$/outfit would have been better imo. Not too expensive, and with a price that doesn’t make the item unappreciated.

But the fact that makes me not want to buy them is that they cost 3.99€, as if the dollar and the euro had the same 1:1 value. Game companies think we europeans are kind of stupid, as we buy the same items as the rest of the world but for more money and nothing happens and everybody is happy. Thanks but no Square, not that way.

They aren’t just outfits, though. These sets each come with outfit (which have stats/passive abilities/unique attacks), weapon, shield, and in this case adornments. You’re paying for a full set of equipment, not just a new look. This is a reasonable price, particularly considering they’re just $1 US more than the XIII-2 costume DLC which WERE purely aesthetic. Not to mention being the same price as ‘Tales of’ costume DLC, which are also purely aesthetic single-items.
