Final Fantasy I, II, III to be novelized

September 2nd, 2012 by Tony Garsow

Square Enix had yet another surprirse for Final Fantasy fans as part of the Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary Event festivities: novelizations for the first three games. Kenji Terada originally crafted the scenarios for these games, with a Final Fantasy II novel after release entitled “Muma no Meikyū/Nightmare’s Labyrinth”. This, of course, was years ago now.

Entitled Final Fantasy: Memory of Heroes, the novel will be available sometime this fall in Japan.

Why are they still using the 3D version for III. i want the original NES III as a remake HD, like the anniversary 1 and 2.

Any chance this will ever be available in the states?

  3. Not sure how well FF novels would do in North America, but I sure hope it does come. Even if it were fan-translated and thrown online, it would be a /long/ time before anyone would take the task of doing 3 novels.

    This would be awesome.

Why not have both as a collection but I prefer it to be the original ff3 over the ds version. Why didn’t ff4 collection included the ds version as well, they could do some new innovating idea features like new game cross between ff4 and ff4ds.
