Using 2D animations and 3D graphics, Final Fantasy: Unlimited was an anime series based off of the Final Fantasy universe. It was chocked full of easter eggs from the games for gamers, some were a lot more obvious than other, more obscure ones.
Licensed for North America and the British Isles by ADV Films, the 25 episode series spanned 7 DVDs. Unfortunately the series was left incomplete by the TV series and has since been completed on other types of media only in Japan.
