Final Fantasy 6

Final Fantasy VI was developed by Square in 1994 for the Nintendo SNES game console. It was the first Final Fantasy to have a different producer than series creator Hironobu Sakaguchi. Instead, Sakaguchi's role was taken over by Yoshinori Kitase and Hiroyuki Ito. Like many other older Final Fantasy Games, Final Fantasy VI was released in North America under a different name; this one being Final Fantasy III. Although in later releases, the original title has been restored.

Final Fantasy VI follows a group of rebels who fight to overthrow an imperial dictatorship. Led by Terra, a girl with mysterious esper power. She leads the rebel group to fight for what she thinks is right. She was once used as a puppet for the dictatorship, she now tries to overthrow them.

Final Fantasy VI is the last Final Fantasy to be released on a 16-Bit system. It also has the largest amount of playable characters than any other Final Fantasy game. There are an astounding 14 permanent playable characters in Final Fantasy VI. It has also been touted as one of the best Final Fantasies because of it's storyline, narrative and characters.
