For the Sequel with Overseas Bravely Default

September 2nd, 2013 by Tony Garsow

Good news for fans awaiting the release of Bravely Default: Where the Fairy Flies overseas: the extra features included in the “For the Sequel” DLC will come with it. Releasing in Japan on December 5th, the game will include a 4x speed mode for battle, a new Auto-mode (presumably for battle), additional save slots (increased to three), and a difficulty toggle. A multi-lingual language option will also be available (as seen in the image below), though the 3DS is region-locked by territory.

Bravely Default: Where the Fairy Flies is currently scheduled for a 2014 release in North America and 2013 for Europe on the Nintendo 3DS.

Multi-lingual option in the Japanese version of Bravely Default.

    You forgot to mention that there are over 100 changes done to this version (including a revamped battle system, dual audio, all redrawn or retouched locations, event viewer, and adjustable encounter rate)

  • This appears to be something which is being handled with care, and that fact alone is appealing, namely, that SE -can- indeed do something with full or nearly full accomplishment.

    @Kori
    Is that so?
    I can’t even tell if some of those, e.g revamped battle system and redrawn or retouched locations, are of praise or not. And adjustable encounter rate is, to me, completely unheard of. How curious.
