The newest demo for Bravely Default: Flying Fairy will feature another look at the battle system — but with more focus on the different jobs you’ll be able to make use of throughout your adventure. On display are Freelancer, Knight, Red Mage, Magic Knight, and Superstar. You’ll also have menu access to play around with customizing each job with abilities, including abilities from other jobs.
Square Enix’s Bravely Default producer Tomoya Asano took the pH of fan reaction to the previous demo, which featured the battle system for the first time. In the form of a poll, players were asked:
Were you satisfied with the Bravely Default Vol. 3 trial?
[46%] It was alright.
[43%] It was fun!
[7%] It was a little dull.
[4%] It was boring.
Were you satisfied with the difficulty of the Bravely Default Vol. 3 trial?
[74%] It was just right.
[11%] It was too hard.
[15%] It was too easy.
Mr. Asano commented that feedback left him with an impression that the battle system was on the slow side. So today, he uploaded a new gameplay video showing the adjusted battle tempo as well as some AI improvements. View it here:

I thought I was interested in bringing the turn-based back into RPG’s but when I look at this I understand why I like action-rpg better now, or the ATB system created for most FF, at least it makes the waiting less dull.
Oh god, it’s turn-based? No wonder the pace feels so slow.
lol you say that like, its a bad thing!
