Challenge a Jobmaster in Bravely Default: Flying Fairy for the Nintendo 3DS, and you’ll be rewarded with that job upon victory. Protagonists Tiz and Agnes will be able to use different jobs including: Monk, Black Mage, White Mage, and Knight. All four Jobmasters featured in the screenshots below belong to the Duchy of Etrania’s air force, who uses — you guessed it — airships. This nation is currently dispatching it’s troops to Kradisul, a city-state that has seen many conflicts.
Bearing (Monk Jobmaster) is rough around the edges, but easy to sway — he’s also the one steering the airship. Holly (White Mage Jobmaster) doesn’t have quarters of her own on the airship — so as a female she has lost a lot of sleep amongst her male subordinates as her bed is on the deck. Ominos (Black Mage Jobmaster) is very mischievous and combative with Holly — their relationship likened to cats and dogs. Argent (Knight Jobmaster) commands respect among his subordinates with a fierce personality.

So you defeat enemies to gain their jobs? Simple, but I like it
why is this so beautiful
Do you think I need to bear the first game to understand this one?
This is a sequel right?
Good question. Personally, I think you’ll be fine without having played 4HoL. Thus far, the only things in common with the previous game are the graphical style and a vague background setting, and maybe some gameplay elements. The story and the characters are totally different.
