Even more new Bravely Default jobs/characters

September 28th, 2012 by Tony Garsow

The upcoming issue of Shounen Jump on shelves this week features more jobs and characters from Bravely Default: Flying Fairy. The General of Eternia is trying to encourage an anti-crystal movement in Luxendarc, and also happens to be Idea’s father; a masked knight named Anazel is in his service. Dr. Victor is in charge of white magic research in Eternia, serving with Victoria — versed in black magic and physically and emotionally unstable.

Of course, each of these characters corresponds to a new job, the details of which are revealed below:

Holy Knight: Knight that can increase the maximum BP (Brave Points that accumulate for actions) in battle.
Dark Knight: Knight that (traditionally) uses HP to perform powerful darkness-based attacks.
Devout: Mage that uses healing magic and can increase the effectiveness of healing based on BP amount.
Magus: Mage that uses offensive magic, and has the best magic power stat of all jobs.

Dengeki PlayStation reveals that Bravely Default has guest designers that are contributing job designs for the game: including Atsushi Okubo (Valkyrie), Hideki Ishikawa (Merchant), Makoto Tsuchibayashi (Swordmaster), Foo Midori (Herbalist), Take (Magus). You can view the designs by clicking here to DPS’s article.
